The Apostles’ Creed
We believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ His only Son, our Lord; which was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hell (that is, the place of the departed righteous); the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven; and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead. We believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic (universal) church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and life everlasting. Amen.
Covenant of Commitment
Pentecostal Holiness people are committed to Jesus Christ and His kingdom. To this end, we believe in the verbal and plenary inspiration [complete and absolute] of the Holy Scriptures [2 Timothy 3:16, 17]. The Bible is God’s infallible Word, the believer’s guide, and the final authority for both faith and conduct [2 Timothy3: 16, 17]. People who teach in our institutions and who are credentialed clergy shall subscribe to this same position.
We believe the top priority of Christians is to “make it our aim to be well pleasing to God” [2 Corinthians 5:9]. Every facet of our lives must come under divine authority as we relate everything to this priority, maintaining it without interruption. We recognize that in order to maximize our Christian witness, our private lives must be consistent with our public testimonies. Hence, our primary goal must be to please God and be acceptable to Him.
Our Vision: Our prayer and aim is to exalt Christ in every area of the local church, to be His hands extended to a lost and dying world, and to allow Him to use us wherever He sees the need.
Our Motto: “Catch The Vision ~ Run To It ~ Jesus Is Coming!”
